The bookshelf and cozy library chair have completely transformed our reading corner into a space students are excited to visit. During independent reading time, I've noticed more students choosing books and staying engaged for longer periods. The headphones have also made a big difference during centers, especially when students are listening to stories or working on phonics activities. They're more focused and able to work independently without distractions. One especially fun moment was introducing the desk pet erasers. Students use them as small rewards for positive behavior and responsibility, and it has really helped build motivation and excitement in our classroom routines.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their reactions were full of excitement and curiosity. They immediately noticed the new library setup and couldn't wait to sit in the chair and explore the bookshelf. The headphones were a big hit as well. Many students felt \"grown up\" using them during learning time. The desk pet erasers brought so much joy; students were eager to earn them and took great pride in taking care of them. Overall, the new items created a sense of ownership and pride in our classroom, making it feel even more like a safe, welcoming space for learning.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are especially excited to use the pizza tablecloth for our upcoming pizzeria-themed math unit on fractions. Students will be working on identifying and creating fractions using \"pizza slices,\" which will make the learning hands-on and relatable. This will be a fun way to deepen their understanding of parts of a whole while engaging in imaginative play. As we continue using these resources, my goal is to build on student independence, engagement, and collaboration. \r\n\r\nThanks to these donations, my students are not only learning important skills but are also developing a love for learning in a classroom environment that feels exciting and supportive.","fullyFundedDate":1768695155464,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-learning-for-curious-first-grad/10018210/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Learning for Curious First Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Robles","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10085836"},{"teacherId":9355188,"projectId":10026000,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our Ðǿմ«Ã½ project for indoor recess toys and games.
